Mask of warm compresses eyeleve

The Eyeleve hot compress mask is used to soften secretions that clog the Meibomian glands and then expel them through massage. Emptying these glands regularly helps preserve their function of producing the oily layer of tears essential for a healthy tear film and clear vision. In the long term, this treatment prevents atrophy (shortening, change in shape and disappearance) of the Meibomian glands. It can be used 1 to 3 times a day and is most effective if used several days in a row (at least one week).

• The Eyeleve mask is particularly effective because it is made of ceramic beads that have the advantage of producing a moist heat of controlled intensity and that do not absorb ambient pollutants. The fabric of the mask contains aluminum which limits the proliferation of bacteria.
• Instructions: put mask in the microwave for 20 seconds at HIGH power, apply on the eyes for 10 minutes then massage from the lower eyelids upwards (towards the eye) and from the upper eyelids downwards 3 times per eyelid.
• The mask is washable with a mild soap when completely cooled and must dry 24 hours before being reused.
